TANFAC Industries reported Q2FY26 standalone revenue of ₹169.31 crores, up about 51% from ₹112.24 crores in Q2FY25, driven by higher hydrofluoric acid volumes following the October 2024 HF capacity expansion. Half-year revenue rose to ₹346.26 crores from ₹208.89 crores (up ~66%). However, Q2 EBITDA fell slightly to ₹27.49 crores (margin of 16.24%) versus ₹27.89 crores (margin 24.85%) last year, and Q2 PAT dipped to ₹17.18 crores from ₹19.31 crores due to a scheduled plant shutdown for maintenance and Solar Grade DHF commissioning. For H1FY26, EBITDA grew to ₹57.40 crores from ₹44.83 crores, and PAT rose to ₹36.53 crores from ₹30.61 crores. Management expects the newly commissioned Solar Grade DHF project (10,000 MT annual capacity) to support top-line and bottom-line growth in coming quarters.
Strong top-line growth on capacity addition is a positive, but margin compression and lower quarterly PAT may temper near-term investor enthusiasm. The commissioning of the Solar Grade DHF project is a key catalyst to watch for margin recovery in H2FY26.
