Tata Chemicals has published its audited consolidated and standalone financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full financial year ended March 31, 2025 in Business Standard, Free Press Journal and Navshakti. On a consolidated basis, Q4 FY25 revenue from continuing operations rose slightly to Rs 3,509 crore from Rs 3,475 crore in Q4 FY24, while the full-year revenue dipped to Rs 14,887 crore from Rs 15,421 crore. The consolidated loss for the quarter narrowed sharply to Rs 49 crore from Rs 841 crore in the year-ago quarter, helped by an exceptional loss in the base period. Full-year consolidated profit stood at Rs 387 crore versus Rs 435 crore earlier. On a standalone basis, FY25 profit after tax fell to Rs 524 crore from Rs 896 crore, with standalone EPS for continuing operations dropping to Rs 20.57 from Rs 35.17. Outstanding consolidated debt rose to Rs 7,072 crore from Rs 5,563 crore, lifting the debt-equity ratio to 0.31.
Mixed picture for shareholders: Q4 losses narrowed sharply but full-year consolidated revenue and standalone profits declined, while borrowing has risen meaningfully. Watch debt levels and the standalone earnings trajectory closely as core profitability appears to be under pressure despite better quarterly trends.
