Tata Chemicals has published its audited financial results for Q4 and full year ended March 31, 2026. Consolidated revenue for FY26 stood at ₹14,584 crore, marginally lower than ₹14,887 crore in the previous year. The company reported a consolidated loss of ₹1,715 crore for FY26 compared to a profit of ₹387 crore in FY25, a significant deterioration. Q4 FY26 consolidated loss was ₹2,116 crore versus a profit of ₹49 crore in Q4 FY25. Standalone performance was healthier with revenue of ₹4,831 crore (up from ₹4,441 crore) and profit after tax of ₹606 crore (up from ₹524 crore). Net worth decreased slightly to ₹22,175 crore while outstanding debt increased to ₹8,001 crore.
The substantial consolidated loss for FY26, driven by underperformance in subsidiaries and joint ventures, is a significant concern for shareholders. However, the standalone business showed growth, suggesting the core chemical operations remain healthy despite challenging market conditions.
