TCS has won a deal to deploy its flagship TCS BaNCS™ insurance software at Dhofar Insurance Company (DIC), the largest insurer in Oman with over 18% market share in general insurance. The platform will modernise DIC's core systems across life, medical, general and motor insurance lines, helping it roll out new products faster and improve customer experience. TCS has had a presence in Oman for over 20 years and recently opened its first office there, aligning with Oman Vision 2040. TCS BaNCS™ is already deployed at more than 75 installations worldwide, and TCS generated $30 billion in revenues in FY25.
This is a modest but positive business win for TCS, strengthening its footprint in the Middle East insurance segment and showcasing another reference client for its BaNCS™ product platform. No material financial impact is expected from this single deal, but it adds to TCS's steady deal-win momentum in the BFSI and MEA regions.
