Tata Consumer Products has recommended a Final Dividend of Rs. 10 per equity share (1000%) for Financial Year 2025-26, payable after shareholder approval at the AGM in June 2026. Under the Income Tax Act 2025, the company must deduct TDS at source on dividend payments. For resident shareholders, TDS is 10% on dividend exceeding Rs. 10,000 aggregate; invalid/inoperative PAN attracts higher 20% TDS. Insurance companies, mutual funds, and Category I/II AIFs may claim exemptions with proper documentation. Non-resident shareholders can claim DTAA benefits by submitting Form 41, Tax Residency Certificate, and other declarations. All tax documents must be submitted by May 25, 2026.
Shareholders should submit required tax declarations (Form 121 etc.) by May 25, 2026 to avoid higher TDS deductions. Physical shareholders must also complete KYC compliance to receive dividend payments.
