Tata Motors has filed its routine SEBI disclosure covering its listed Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) as on March 31, 2025. The company allotted a new E-31A series of NCDs across three tranches on March 27, 2025, with a combined size of about ₹2,000 crore (50,000 + 70,000 + 80,000 lakh), which were listed on NSE on April 2, 2025. All existing as well as newly issued NCDs carry a credit rating of AA+ with Stable outlook from CRISIL, and these ratings were reaffirmed on March 3, 2025. During the year, three series (E-26B, E-26C, and E-28A Tranche III) matured and were fully redeemed, with the company paying back the principal along with the final interest instalment on schedule. All interest payments due on the other outstanding NCD series were also made on time, with minor shifts of one day on two occasions caused by RBI-declared bank holidays. The disclosure confirms there is no default or delay in servicing any of the company's debt securities.
This is a routine, compliance-driven filing and not a market-moving event. Reaffirmed AA+/Stable rating signals continued strong credit quality for retail bondholders; the new ₹2,000 crore NCD raise indicates ongoing working-capital and investment funding activity for the company.
