Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has shared its SIAM quarterly production, domestic sales, and export data for October–December 2025. Overall volumes grew strongly year-on-year, with the Compact segment (Tiago, Tigor, Altroz) rising from ~24,446 to ~32,777 domestic units and the UVC segment (Nexon, Punch) climbing from ~89,870 to ~1,15,435 units, a roughly 28% jump. The UV2 segment (Safari, Harrier) also nearly doubled to ~16,483 units. However, the UV1 segment (Curvv, Sierra) saw a sharp decline, with domestic sales falling from ~15,446 to ~3,921 units, suggesting weak offtake or transition issues for newer models. Exports rose across Compact, UVC, and UV2 categories, though absolute numbers remain small.
Strong growth in the mass-market Compact and Nexon/Punch segments is positive for revenue and market share, but the steep fall in Curvv/Sierra volumes is a concern for the premium portfolio and may weigh on margins and investor sentiment.
