Tata Power board okays raising Rs 4,500 cr via NCDs

Tata Power's board has approved raising up to Rs 4,500 crore through non-convertible debentures, bonds, or other debt securities via private placement, in one or more tranches and currencies. The funds will be used primarily for refinancing existing loans and other corporate purposes. The proposal had earlier received shareholder approval at the annual general meeting held on July 4, 2025.
