Tata Power shared its Q4 FY25 and FY25 results with analysts, posting its 22nd consecutive quarter of year-on-year profit growth. FY25 revenue rose to ₹64,502 Cr (from ₹61,542 Cr), EBITDA grew to ₹14,468 Cr, and profit before exceptional items jumped 26.4% to ₹5,197 Cr, crossing the ₹5,000 Cr PAT milestone. Total capacity stands at ~25.7 GW (operational plus under construction), with 16.8 GW in clean and green energy, on track for 70% clean energy by 2030 and Net Zero by 2045. Key wins include 1.5 lakh+ rooftop solar installations, a ₹632 Cr order from SECI for DCR modules, MoU with Druk Green for 5,100 MW in Bhutan, and the start of construction at the 600 MW Khorlochhu hydro project. Credit ratings were upgraded across agencies and Moody's revised its outlook to Positive.
Strong all-round performance with record profits, improving leverage (net debt/EBITDA falling to 2.93 from 5.68 a few years ago), and a robust order pipeline in renewables, transmission, and hydro. Positive for shareholders — likely to support the stock given visible growth momentum, debt reduction, and clean energy expansion targets.
