Tata Steel has infused USD 180 million (approximately ₹1,680.27 crore) into its wholly owned Singapore-based foreign subsidiary, T Steel Holdings Pte. Ltd (TSHP), by subscribing to around 178.57 crore equity shares at a face value of USD 0.1008 each. This is a continuation of a series of capital infusions that have been made into TSHP since May 2025, with previous disclosures in June, July, August, September, October, and December 2025, and February 2026. After this transaction, TSHP continues to remain a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel with no change in ownership structure.
This is a routine capital infusion into a wholly owned subsidiary and does not affect Tata Steel's consolidated earnings or change shareholder ownership. It signals continued financial support to TSHP, which likely funds overseas operations or debt obligations, with no immediate direct impact on the stock price.
