Tatva Chintan shared its Q1 FY26 investor presentation, showing a strong recovery from a weak FY25. Q1 FY26 revenue rose 10.8% YoY to ₹1,168.6 Mn and 8.3% QoQ from ₹1,078.6 Mn. EBITDA (excl. other income) jumped 37.4% YoY to ₹173.3 Mn, with margin expanding to 14.8% from 12.0% in Q1 FY25 and just 8.3% in Q4 FY25. PAT grew 27.7% YoY to ₹66.5 Mn (margin 5.7% vs 4.9%). EPS for the quarter was ₹2.84 vs ₹2.23. In contrast, full-year FY25 was disappointing: revenue dipped 2.7% to ₹3,827 Mn, EBITDA fell nearly 50% to ₹342 Mn (margin 8.9% vs 17.3%), and PAT collapsed 81% to ₹57 Mn. Product mix in Q1 FY26 was led by PASC (37%) and SDA (34%), with PTC at 28%.
The sharp Q1 FY26 margin and earnings rebound from FY25 lows is a positive signal for shareholders, suggesting bottoming-out of the prior downturn and supporting near-term sentiment, though FY25 weakness highlights ongoing volatility.
