TCM Limited has signed an 11-month lease agreement with M/s Better Feeds Pvt Ltd to take on lease a 10,760 sq ft commercial factory and office space at Palakkad, Kerala, for producing poultry feeds. The lease runs from 12 September 2025 to 11 August 2026, with a refundable security deposit of Rs. 2.90 crore and a monthly rent of Rs. 2.50 lakh (inclusive of GST). The deal is domestic, between unrelated parties, and done at arm's length. Notably, the lease rentals will be used by the lessor to service KSIDC loan interest, and TCM intends to eventually acquire the lessor company, as flagged in its 20 May 2025 BSE announcement. This marks TCM's entry into the poultry feed business through its Palakkad facility.
This is a small-ticket operational move for now (annual rent ~Rs. 30 lakh), but the larger signal is TCM's expansion into poultry feed production and a likely future acquisition of Better Feeds Pvt Ltd. Shareholders should view this as a strategic diversification step rather than a near-term revenue driver, with the real upside contingent on the proposed acquisition closing.
