TCPL Packaging's board meeting on May 28, 2026 approved audited financial results for FY2026 and recommended a dividend of Rs 25 per share (250%). The company reported standalone revenue of Rs 1,736 crore and profit after tax of Rs 97.18 crore, down from Rs 1,696 crore and Rs 141 crore respectively in FY2025. The decline was partly due to an exceptional charge of Rs 135.24 crore related to new labour code implementation. Two executive directors were reappointed: Mr. S G Nanavati (69, Chartered Accountant) for 3 years from June 2026, and Mr. Vidur Kanoria (32, Boston University graduate, son of Managing Director Saket Kanoria) for 3 years from May 2026, both subject to shareholder approval at the August 2026 AGM.
The reappointment of key directors including a promoter family member ensures continuity, but the profit decline and labour code impact may concern investors ahead of the dividend vote.
