Technichem Organics has received Prior Environmental Clearance (EC) from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF&CC) for a new greenfield project at Plot No. C-297, Saykha Industrial Estate, Bharuch, Gujarat. The EC, issued on March 2, 2026, falls under Category B1, Schedule 5(f) of the EIA Notification 2006, covering the synthetic organic chemicals industry. The proposed project will manufacture 29 different chemical intermediates (used in pharmaceuticals, dyes, and agrochemicals) with a total capacity of 500 MT/Month. Fresh water requirement is capped at 80.75 KLD and industrial effluent generation is projected at 161 KLD. The clearance is valid for 10 years and is subject to over 170 specific conditions covering safety, emissions, hazardous waste, and green belt development.
