Techno Electric reported Q1 FY26 results with standalone revenue from operations at Rs 5,137 million, up about 24% from Rs 4,137 million in Q1 FY25, while total income rose to Rs 5,716 million. Standalone profit after tax from continuing operations jumped roughly 77% to Rs 982 million, and including a Rs 252 million net contribution from discontinued operations (Late Payment Surcharge from sale of energy), total PAT reached Rs 1,233 million versus Rs 1,004 million a year ago. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew about 40% to Rs 5,260 million and continuing PAT more than doubled to Rs 1,110 million, with total consolidated PAT at Rs 1,361 million. The auditor (Walker Chandiok & Co LLP) gave an unmodified review conclusion but flagged as an emphasis of matter that trade receivables and other financial assets of Rs 905.96 million are pending realization and substantially overdue as on June 30, 2025. The board also reconstituted the Audit Committee, appointing Mr. Arun Duggal as Chairman following the end of Mr. K.K. Rai's tenure.
Strong double-digit revenue growth and a sharp jump in continuing-operations profitability are positive for shareholders, though the auditor's emphasis on nearly Rs 906 million of overdue receivables is a watch point on collection quality. The audit committee leadership change is a routine governance update and not material to the investment case.
