Tega Industries reported Q1 FY26 total revenue of Rs. 3,716 mn, up 6% year-on-year from Rs. 3,516 mn in Q1 FY25. However, profitability contracted — EBITDA fell 6% to Rs. 711 mn with margin shrinking to 19% from 22%, and PAT declined 4% to Rs. 353 mn. Revenue from operations grew a healthier 4.7% to Rs. 3,561 mn on better gross profit (up 4% to Rs. 2,101 mn), but rising employee and other expenses pressured operating margins. The company disclosed an order book of Rs. 10,053 mn as of June 30, 2025, of which Rs. 6,103 mn is executable within one year, providing reasonable near-term revenue visibility.
Mixed quarter for shareholders — top-line growth is healthy and the order book offers comfort, but margin compression and a profit decline could weigh on near-term sentiment. Investors should watch whether cost pressures ease in coming quarters to restore EBITDA margins toward the FY25 level of 23%.
