Texmaco Rail & Engineering has secured an order worth Rs. 7.67 crores (excluding taxes) from South Western Railway, a zone of Indian Railways. The contract covers outsourcing of OHE (Overhead Equipment) and PSI maintenance activities for a period of two years, to be executed within 24 months from the date of the Letter of Acceptance. The order is purely domestic with no related party involvement. While this is a routine maintenance contract, it adds to the company's railway services order book.
This is a relatively small order (Rs. 7.67 crores) and unlikely to materially move the stock price on its own. However, it reinforces Texmaco's ongoing relationship with Indian Railways and contributes to revenue visibility in the maintenance services segment.
