BLS Infotech's board, meeting on 15 August 2025, approved unaudited Q1 FY26 results. Total income stood at Rs 7.00 lakhs versus Rs 1.50 lakhs in the same quarter last year, but the entire amount came from 'Other Income' with zero revenue from operations. The company posted a profit after tax of Rs 2.81 lakhs, reversing a loss of Rs 9.46 lakhs in Q4 FY25 and up from Rs 1.10 lakhs in Q1 FY25. EPS was negligible at Rs 0.00. The limited review report by statutory auditor Arun Jain & Associates was clean (unqualified). Notably, reserves are negative at Rs (303.25) lakhs, meaning accumulated losses have wiped out shareholder equity on a standalone basis.
While headline numbers improved and the company returned to profit, the absence of any operating revenue and deeply negative reserves are serious red flags for shareholders. The profit appears driven by non-operating, possibly one-off income rather than a sustainable business, making the stock fundamentally weak despite the favourable quarter-on-quarter comparison.
