Filtron Engineers Ltd reported a net loss of Rs 29.96 lakh for FY25, narrower than the Rs 34.79 lakh loss in FY24. Total income rose to Rs 47.65 lakh in FY25 from Rs 13.32 lakh in FY24, driven entirely by other income (Rs 22.65 lakh) as revenue from operations stood at just Rs 25,000 for the full year. EPS improved to -Rs 1.14 from -Rs 1.33. The company's other equity is deeply negative at Rs -6.66 crore, and total borrowings of about Rs 3.88 crore remain on the books. Operating cash flow was negative at Rs -56.12 lakh, worsening from Rs -27.77 lakh last year. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, and the company noted that some customers and vendors have filed suits which it disputes. BSE has revoked the suspension on trading of the company's shares, and M/s. Vaishnavi Badwe & Associates was re-appointed as internal auditor for FY26.
Losses are shrinking and trading suspension has been lifted, which is positive for shareholders. However, the company remains loss-making with fully eroded net worth and persistent negative operating cash flows, signalling continued financial stress despite the modest year-on-year improvement.
