The Hi-Tech Gears Limited published its audited financial results for Q4 and year ended March 31, 2026. Total standalone income declined 2% year-over-year to Rs 9,084 million. However, quarterly Q4 performance improved with net profit rising to Rs 97 million from Rs 81 million in Q4 FY25. Full year net profit dropped significantly to Rs 210 million versus Rs 404 million in FY25, nearly halving. The company also announced a final dividend of Rs 4 per share (40% on Rs 10 face value), subject to shareholder approval at AGM. Additionally, 20,330 equity shares were allotted to employees under the Stock Incentive Plan 2021, increasing paid-up capital to Rs 18.81 crore.
Full-year profit declined significantly year-over-year despite stable revenues, which may concern investors. The dividend announcement and Q4 recovery are positive signals, but the sharp decline in annual EPS (from Rs 21.49 to Rs 11.16) could pressure the stock near-term.
