Alka India's Board met on 24th July 2025 and addressed three items. First, the Board noted a past non-compliance with SEBI Insider Trading Regulations regarding the Structured Digital Database (SDD), which occurred during the period the company was under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and managed by a Resolution Professional. The new management, which took over on 18th February 2025, has since installed the SDD software and taken corrective action. Second, the Board noted the SDD Compliance Certificate for the quarter ended 30th June 2025 from M/s. J D Khatnani & Associates. Third, the Board approved the appointment of M/s. J.M. Patel & Bros., Chartered Accountants (FRN: 107707W), as the new Statutory Auditor for a five-year term, replacing M/s. Amit Ramakant & Co., who resigned citing the shift of operations to the company's new Ahmedabad corporate office. The auditor appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.
This is largely an administrative update with no direct impact on share price. The non-compliance was historical and tied to the insolvency period, with corrective steps already taken. The auditor change reflects the change in control following the insolvency resolution and the relocation of operations to Ahmedabad.
