Ramco Cements reported strong financial performance for FY2026 with standalone total income of Rs 9,056 Crores (up 6% from Rs 8,539 Crores). Standalone net profit after tax jumped 66% to Rs 694 Crores from Rs 417 Crores in the previous year, while consolidated PAT surged 159% to Rs 699 Crores from Rs 270 Crores. The company declared a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share. Exceptional items of Rs 553 Crores (vs Rs 177 Crores last year) included Rs 506 Crores from sale of surplus lands, Rs 67 Crores from sale of investments, and Rs 20 Crores due to Social Security Code changes. EPS improved to Rs 29.33 from Rs 17.65. The auditors issued unmodified (clean) opinions on both standalone and consolidated results.
The 66% PAT growth on standalone basis signals strong operational performance despite modest 6% revenue growth. The large exceptional items from asset sales inflate profits and investors should monitor underlying operational profitability. The clean audit opinion and reduced debt-equity ratio (0.47 vs 0.63) are positive signs for financial health.
