The Ramco Cements has submitted to the exchanges copies of newspaper advertisements containing the extract of its consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025, as required under SEBI LODR regulations. For Q1 FY26, consolidated total income stood at Rs 2,080 crore, marginally down from Rs 2,101.65 crore in Q1 FY25. Net profit before exceptional items and tax jumped to Rs 114.87 crore from Rs 47.54 crore a year earlier, and net profit after tax attributable to equity shareholders more than doubled to Rs 85.03 crore (vs Rs 37.16 crore in Q1 FY25). Consolidated EPS rose to Rs 3.60 from Rs 1.63 in the year-ago quarter, while total comprehensive income rose to Rs 90.36 crore from Rs 36.60 crore. The board approved the results on 7 August 2025, and statutory auditors issued an unmodified limited review opinion.
The sharp YoY growth in operating profitability and doubled EPS, even with flat revenue, signals improved margins and is likely to be viewed positively by shareholders. Investors should look for management commentary on whether the margin improvement is sustainable.
