Ramco Cements reported strong Q4FY26 results with revenue of ₹2,618 Cr (up 9% YoY) and PAT of ₹146 Cr (up 372% YoY). For FY26, revenue grew 6% to ₹9,056 Cr while PAT jumped 66% to ₹694 Cr. EBITDA margin improved to 16% in FY26 from 15% in FY25. Cement sales volume was 181.74 lac tons with 4% YoY price improvement. The company faced cost pressures from a new mineral bearing land tax in Tamil Nadu (₹150 Cr impact for FY26) and rupee depreciation affecting fuel costs. Borrowings were significantly reduced from ₹4,652 Cr to ₹3,852 Cr, with Net Debt/EBITDA improving from 3.51x to 2.47x. The company monetized ₹1,098 Cr through non-core asset sales over two years and plans to achieve 31 MTPA capacity by FY27 with ₹800 Cr capex.
Strong profitability improvement driven by better cement prices and asset sales offsets cost pressures. Significant debt reduction and improved leverage ratios signal healthier balance sheet, which could be positive for the stock.
