The Ravalgaon Sugar Farm Ltd reported a net loss of Rs. 486.54 lakhs for FY2026, significantly worse than the Rs. 202.70 lakh loss in FY2025. Revenue from operations declined sharply to Rs. 115.81 lakhs from Rs. 241.31 lakhs previously. The company is essentially dormant as both its sugar and confectionery businesses have been sold off (sugar factory in 2018, confectionery trademarks to Reliance Consumer Products in FY2023-24). The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion but included five 'Emphasis of Matter' paragraphs highlighting: the company's inactive status, an unresolved gratuity claim of Rs. 62.10 lakhs, water charges dispute of Rs. 15.80 lakhs, a property tax demand of Rs. 278.93 lakhs, and an adverse Supreme Court ruling on electricity duty exemption. Total equity stood at Rs. 1,017.87 lakhs down from Rs. 1,509.09 lakhs.
The company is a dormant shell with no operating business and mounting losses, which is a serious concern for shareholders. Despite the clean audit opinion, multiple pending legal disputes and contingent liabilities create significant uncertainty. The stock appears to be a high-risk, speculative holding with no near-term recovery prospects.
