The Board of Thirani Projects approved its audited standalone financial results for Q4 and FY ending 31 March 2025. Total revenue from operations rose modestly to Rs 85.24 lakhs from Rs 82.86 lakhs a year ago. The company swung to a profit of Rs 74.72 lakhs in FY25 compared with a large loss of Rs 637.76 lakhs in FY24, which had been dragged down by a Rs 545.92 lakh loss on sale of securities and a Rs 128.80 lakh provision for doubtful debts. EPS came in at Rs 0.37 versus negative Rs 3.16 previously. The statutory auditor M/s R.K. Kankaria & Co. issued an unmodified opinion. No dividend was declared for FY25. Additionally, Dipika Naresh Dayma, Chartered Accountants was appointed as Internal Auditor for FY26, and Kirti Sharma & Associates was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years from FY26 to FY30, subject to shareholder approval.
The shift from a sizeable prior-year loss to a small profit is a positive turnaround signal, but the absolute earnings remain very thin relative to the company's negative other equity of Rs 774.86 lakhs, indicating accumulated losses. No dividend means shareholders won't get income this year. The auditor appointments are routine governance items and unlikely to move the stock.
