Tijaria Polypipes has submitted a One-Time Settlement (OTS) proposal of Rs. 53.67 crore to Bank of India to close out all outstanding loan dues. The company has already placed Rs. 12 crore with the bank under a no-lien account and is depositing an additional Rs. 5.37 crore upfront via demand drafts, bringing total upfront to ~30.65% of the settlement. The remaining Rs. 26.83 crore (50%) is to be paid within 180 days of OTS acceptance, which must happen on or before 15th April 2026. An external investor is willing to infuse funds into the company, but only if the OTS is accepted by the deadline — otherwise the Rs. 53.67 crore offer becomes void. The company's manufacturing plant has been non-operational for over four years, and the proposal is being pursued under directions of the Rajasthan High Court and RBI's June 2023 resolution framework.
If accepted, this OTS removes a major overhang on the company — the bank dues — and could allow fresh equity infusion and operational restart. However, the loan is clearly in stressed/NPA territory, and the tight 15th April 2026 deadline with a 'void if not accepted' clause makes the next few weeks a critical, high-risk milestone for shareholders.
