Timex Group India reported record FY25 results with total income of ₹540 crore, up ~28% year-on-year, driven by strong growth across Timex, Guess, Versace, and Philipp Plein brands and a 46% surge in Q4 revenue. Profit after tax for the year rose to ₹31.4 crore (from ₹20.8 crore), with EPS nearly doubling to ₹2.62. The board declared dividends totalling about ₹9.54 crore on preference shares, partly clearing unpaid accumulated dividends from prior years. Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion, and NKJ & Associates was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years while Grant Thornton Bharat LLP was reappointed as Internal Auditor for FY26. The company redeemed legacy 13.88% preference shares by issuing new 10.75% preference shares of ₹27.32 crore to its Dutch parent.
Strong top-line and profit growth, clean audit opinion, and clearance of old unpaid preference dividends signal improved financial health and should be positive for the stock. However, operating cash flow turned negative (₹3.15 crore vs ₹32.5 crore inflow last year) and borrowings rose sharply due to preference share restructuring, which investors should watch.
