Timken India reported Q4 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 10,731 million (up 14% YoY) but PAT declined 17% to Rs 1,548 million. For the full year, revenue grew 8.6% to Rs 34,193 million while PAT fell 11% to Rs 3,983 million. EPS dropped from Rs 59.48 to Rs 52.96. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share, a significant cut from Rs 36 per share in the previous year. The auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results. Additionally, the Board approved a scheme to amalgamate Timken GGB Technology Private Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary with turnover of Rs 587 million) into Timken India, with no cash or share consideration involved as it's a holding-subsidiary merger. Two senior management appointments were also made.
The 11% decline in full-year PAT and sharp dividend reduction to Rs 2.50 from Rs 36 per share signals pressure on profitability and shareholder returns, likely negative for the stock near-term. However, revenue growth and the subsidiary merger aimed at cost savings could support long-term value.
