Timken India has filed its 38th AGM Notice and Annual Report for FY 2024-25, with the AGM scheduled for August 19, 2025. The company posted its highest-ever revenue of ₹31,478 million, up 8.2% year-on-year, driven by strong domestic demand. Profit after tax rose to ₹4,474 million from ₹3,921 million, while EPS hit an all-time high of ₹59.48 (up from ₹52.13). A new ₹700 crore manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat was inaugurated in April 2025, expanding capacity for cylindrical and spherical roller bearings. The effective tax rate fell to 19.1% from 25.2%, and the company became debt-free, with the debt-equity ratio moving to nil.
Strong all-time-high revenue and EPS signal robust operational performance, while the new Bharuch plant positions the company for future growth under the Make in India initiative. The reduction in the parent company's stake from 57.70% to 51.05% is a notable change in ownership structure. Overall, the results and capacity expansion should be viewed positively by shareholders.
