Tokyo Plast International reported standalone revenue of Rs 7931.35 lakh for FY26, up 9.4% from Rs 7247.43 lakh in FY25. Standalone PAT grew 6.5% to Rs 140.97 lakh. However, consolidated PAT declined 37% to Rs 83.04 lakh due to the subsidiary Pinnacle Drinkware Private Limited reporting a loss of Rs 57.60 lakh for FY26 despite having assets of Rs 3920.19 lakh. The subsidiary generated zero revenue during the year. An exceptional item of Rs 12.80 lakh (loss on closure of subsidiary) was recorded in consolidated results. Finance costs increased to Rs 215.57 lakh from Rs 212.12 lakh. Operating cash flow remained positive at Rs 890.61 lakh. The auditor gave an unqualified opinion with no going concern doubts.
The standalone business shows modest growth, but the loss-making subsidiary is dragging down consolidated earnings significantly. Shareholders should monitor the subsidiary's performance and the impact of its closure on future results.
