Top Gainers & Losers on 14 July: HCL Tech, Ceat, Swiggy, Anant Raj, Newgen Software Tech among top losers

Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended lower by more than 0.7% on July 14, dragged by escalating US-Iran tensions that pushed crude oil prices up nearly 10% overnight to a four-week high. US President Trump announced a 20% fee on all cargo passing through the Strait of Hormuz, through which nearly one-fifth of the world's traded crude oil and LNG transits. Sectoral breadth was weak with Nifty Realty, PSU Bank and Auto falling over 1%, while Nifty Pharma gained 1% and Nifty Metal rose 0.6% amid concerns over persistent inflation and a likely higher-for-longer rate stance.
