Transcorp International's board met on 13th May 2025 and approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended 31st March 2025, with the auditor issuing an unmodified opinion. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations stood at Rs. 1,43,025.38 lakhs, while profit for the year jumped sharply to Rs. 1,017.36 lakhs (vs Rs. 6.00 lakhs in FY24), driven by a one-time share of profit from an associate. Standalone profit also rose strongly to Rs. 309.48 lakhs (vs Rs. 55.20 lakhs), though standalone revenue declined to Rs. 1,42,529.50 lakhs from Rs. 2,13,785.05 lakhs. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.30 per share (15% on Rs. 2 face value), subject to shareholder approval. The 30th AGM was fixed for 28th June 2025 via video conferencing, with the record date on 20th June and book closure from 21st-23rd June 2025.
Shareholders will benefit from the dividend announcement and a notable year-on-year improvement in profitability, especially at the consolidated level, though the steep fall in standalone revenue signals underlying business weakness in the core forex and money transfer segment. The 15% dividend yield on face value is modest but signals management's intent to return cash.
