Newspaper Publications Special window for re-lodgment of transfer request of physical shares

Transport Corporation of India Limited has published notices in newspapers informing shareholders about a special window to re-lodge transfer requests for physical shares. This follows a SEBI circular that allows holders of physical shares to resubmit transfer deeds that were previously rejected due to documentation issues, such as mismatch in signatures or missing papers. Shareholders whose earlier transfer requests were returned between July 7, 2021 and January 7, 2022 (or such dates specified by SEBI) can now resubmit them. The window is a one-time opportunity to regularise old physical share transfers without facing permanent rejection.
