Transport Corporation of India (TCI) announced audited results for Q4/FY25. Consolidated revenue from operations rose to Rs. 4,491.8 crore (vs Rs. 4,024.2 crore in FY24), and consolidated net profit grew to Rs. 416.1 crore (vs Rs. 354.5 crore), with EPS of Rs. 53.43. The board approved a grant of 122,000 ESOP options at Rs. 550 each, and proposed issuing non-convertible debentures up to Rs. 200 crore, subject to shareholder approval. It also appointed Vinod Kothari & Co. as Secretarial Auditors for five years, re-appointed Mr. Vikrampati Singhania as Independent Director for a second five-year term, and continued Mr. S N Agarwal as Non-Executive Director despite being over 75. Company Secretary & Compliance Officer Ms. Archana Pandey resigned effective May 15, 2025, with Group CFO Mr. Ashish Kumar Tiwari temporarily overseeing compliance duties. The company also completed a buyback of 13.33 lakh shares at Rs. 1,400 each, totalling Rs. 160 crore.
Strong FY25 results with double-digit profit growth and a clean audit opinion are positive for shareholders, while the Rs. 200 crore NCD plan and buyback reflect healthy capital management.
