TBZ announced its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) results alongside several board decisions. Standalone revenue from operations rose 4.7% year-on-year to Rs. 624.07 crore, while gross profit jumped 17.4% to Rs. 100.84 crore and EBITDA grew 20.7% to Rs. 51.41 crore. EBITDA margin expanded 110 basis points to 8.24%, and profit after tax increased 13.4% to Rs. 20.94 crore, with EPS at Rs. 3.14 versus Rs. 2.77 a year ago. The board set 2 September 2025 as the record date for the final dividend, with the 18th AGM scheduled for 9 September 2025. It also re-appointed Shrikant Zaveri as Chairman & Managing Director and two family members as whole-time directors for five-year terms, re-appointed statutory auditor Chaturvedi & Shah LLP, and approved an MOA amendment to allow the company to accept deposits from members and the public. Two new flagship stores were launched in Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, taking the network to 37 stores across 27 cities.
The combination of mid-teens profit growth and a 110 bps expansion in EBITDA margin signals improving operating efficiency, which is generally positive for shareholders. The reaffirmed final dividend and the family-led management continuity provide stability, while the move to accept public deposits could broaden the company's funding options for further store expansion.
