Trident Texofab, a Surat-based semi-composite textile manufacturer, reported its Q4 and FY25 results via an earnings presentation. FY25 revenue grew 23% YoY to ₹12,205.62 lakhs, while Q4FY25 revenue rose 27% YoY to ₹3,820.63 lakhs. However, FY25 EBITDA fell to ₹547.20 lakhs from ₹615.57 lakhs, with EBITDA margins contracting sharply from 6.19% to 4.48%, which management acknowledged as moderation. Profit after tax more than doubled to ₹251.01 lakhs in FY25 from ₹107.98 lakhs, helped by a strong Q4 PAT of ₹51.05 lakhs versus a loss in Q4FY24. Shareholders' fund nearly tripled to ₹4,723.87 lakhs, reflecting a recent capital infusion, and management reiterated its focus on manufacturing, which now contributes 63.6% of revenue.
Revenue growth is healthy but the sharp drop in EBITDA margins and rising interest costs (₹454.98 lakhs in FY25 vs ₹403.69 lakhs) signal profitability pressure despite higher sales. Shareholders may weigh top-line momentum against eroding margins and increased finance costs in the near term.
