Triumph International Finance India Ltd reported its Q3 FY26 results: total income of ₹105.31 lakhs (up from ₹84.11 lakhs in Q3 FY25) and net profit of ₹98.42 lakhs (more than double ₹43.72 lakhs a year ago). For the nine-month period, the company posted a net profit of ₹302.20 lakhs on income of ₹324.85 lakhs, with EPS of ₹4.03. However, the statutory auditor (Rawat & Associates) issued a qualified opinion flagging serious issues: SEBI has cancelled the company's stock broker registration, NSE declared it a defaulter, and the Supreme Court dismissed its appeal. A ₹67.12 crore receivable from Classic Credit Limited is doubtful of recovery, a ₹46.76 crore loan from Punjab National Bank sits at the Debt Recovery Tribunal with interest not being recognized, ₹3.56 crore is stuck with Panther Investrade, and ₹12.09 crore of shares in the demat account have unclear ownership. Net worth is deeply negative at approximately ₹(6,498) lakhs standalone and ₹(6,765) lakhs consolidated.
Despite the headline profit growth, the stock is highly risky — the company has a negative net worth, lost its brokerage licence, and carries large doubtful receivables and legacy loan disputes that could wipe out reported profits. Shareholders should treat this as a deeply distressed entity with material going-concern risk rather than a healthy earnings story.
