Triveni Engineering reported FY26 gross revenue of ₹7,621 crore, up 11.9% YoY, with PAT of ₹269 crore (up 12.8%). The company operates four segments: Sugar (46% of revenue), Alcohol, Power Transmission (gears), and Water solutions. Sugar segment revenue grew 12.8% to ₹4,477 crore despite higher cane costs, supported by 4% higher realization prices. Alcohol segment saw strong profitability improvement with PBIT up 201% to ₹119 crore due to lower maize costs and higher volumes. Power Transmission revenue declined 5% to ₹340 crore due to geopolitical headwinds but maintained 35% PBIT margins and record closing order book of ₹485 crore (up 24.7%). The company completed a major corporate restructuring: NCLT approved amalgamation of subsidiary Sir Shadi Lal Enterprises with TEIL and demerger of Power Transmission business into a separate listed entity TPTL, effective May 19, 2026.
Shareholders should note the corporate restructuring (effective May 19, 2026) will create two focused entities: the consolidated sugar/alcohol/water company and a separately listed Power Transmission entity (TPTL). The strong order book growth in Power Transmission and improved alcohol profitability are positive signals, though Q4 saw sequential decline across segments.
