Triveni Enterprises has reported its Q1 FY26 results with a clean (unmodified) limited review from auditor SDG & Co. Revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs 57.91 lakhs, down from Rs 304.22 lakhs in the same quarter last year — an approximately 81% year-on-year decline. Total income (including other income) stood at Rs 68.98 lakhs versus Rs 306.52 lakhs earlier. Despite the steep revenue drop, the company reported a net profit of Rs 31.31 lakhs (Rs 3.31 lakhs in the table, in lakhs), compared to Rs 9.63 lakhs in Q1 FY25, bouncing back from a loss of Rs 8.97 lakhs in the preceding Q4 FY25. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 0.01. Expenses were also sharply lower at Rs 6.61 lakhs versus Rs 96.92 lakhs, broadly tracking the revenue contraction.
The massive year-on-year revenue drop is a significant red flag for investors, even though bottom-line profitability was maintained through cost cuts. Shareholders should watch for management commentary on whether this is a one-off quarter or the start of a structural slowdown in the core business.
