True Green Bio Energy Ltd (formerly CIL Nova Petrochemicals) submitted to BSE the newspaper publication of its unaudited financial results for Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26. Total income from operations for Q2 FY26 came in at Rs. 310.97 lakhs, sharply lower than Rs. 1,616.46 lakhs in Q2 FY25. Despite the weak revenue, net profit after tax rose to Rs. 85.57 lakhs (vs Rs. 38.18 lakhs YoY) and EPS stood at Rs. 0.07 vs Rs. 0.14. The company also swung from a Rs. 38.72 lakh loss in Q1 FY26 to a healthy profit this quarter. For H1 FY26, revenue declined to Rs. 1,016.10 lakhs (from Rs. 1,943.19 lakhs in H1 FY25), but profit after tax jumped to Rs. 46.84 lakhs from Rs. 8.44 lakhs.
The steep YoY revenue decline is worrying for a small company, but the strong sequential turnaround and swing back to profit from a full-year FY25 loss of Rs. 121.72 lakhs point to better cost control and improved margins, which may lend some support to investor sentiment despite weak top-line growth.
