True Green Bio Energy (formerly CIL Nova Petrochemicals) reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of ₹701.74 lakhs, up sharply from ₹326.73 lakhs in Q1 FY25 (≈115% YoY growth), driven mainly by its new ethanol segment. Profit before tax jumped to ₹140.47 lakhs from just ₹4.44 lakhs a year ago. However, the company remained in net loss at ₹-38.73 lakhs (vs ₹-29.74 lakhs prior year) after tax adjustments, with basic EPS at ₹-0.03. During the quarter, the company raised ₹21.25 crores via a preferential equity allotment of 30.36 lakh shares at ₹70 each, which began trading on 25 July 2025. The board also approved several governance changes, including a new Independent Director, reconstitution of key committees, and accepted the resignation of the Company Secretary.
Strong revenue growth and a clear business pivot toward ethanol manufacturing are positives, but the bottom line is still in the red, so the stock remains in turnaround mode. The fresh equity raise of ₹21.25 crores strengthens the balance sheet for ethanol expansion. Active board refresh and committee reconstitution may improve governance perception.
