TTI Enterprise Ltd has informed BSE and Calcutta Stock Exchange that 7 members of its promoter/promoter group have requested to be reclassified as public shareholders under SEBI LODR Regulation 31A(10). The requesters are Binjal Mehta, Paraj Mehta, Jitendra Kumar Mehta, Paraj Mehta HUF, Irawati Enterprises LLP, Meghnath Wealth Creators LLP, and Vaikundam Advisors LLP — all of whom currently hold Nil (zero) shares in the company. All of them had resigned from the board on 27th May 2022 and claim no direct or indirect control or involvement in the company. This is the third such request from the same group, with previous submissions on 27 September 2022 and 13 January 2025 going unaddressed. The Board of Directors will now consider the request, after which it will need stock exchange approval to take effect.
Since all 7 requesting members already hold zero shares, this is largely a housekeeping reclassification rather than a change in ownership. If approved, the promoter group of TTI Enterprise would formally shrink to zero, which may slightly increase the public float percentage on paper but should have no material effect on share price or shareholder value.
