Tube Investments of India reported audited standalone PAT of Rs 827.35 crore for FY2026, a significant 36% decline from Rs 1,296.66 crore in FY2025, primarily due to exceptional items and lower fair value gains on CCPS (Rs 569 crore in prior year vs Rs 6.80 crore in current year). Standalone revenue grew 8.4% to Rs 8,556 crore. On consolidated basis, total revenue grew 17% to Rs 23,235 crore with PAT up 6% to Rs 1,116 crore. The statutory auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated financial statements. Exceptional items of Rs 22.75 crore were recorded mainly due to additional gratuity liabilities under new labour codes. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.50 per share.
The sharp standalone PAT decline reflects exceptional items and absence of prior-year fair value gains, though core operations remain healthy with 8.4% standalone revenue growth. Consolidated results show broader business strength across subsidiaries. Clean audit opinions are positive signals for shareholders.
