U. H. Zaveri's Board approved unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, which were given an unqualified limited review by Shah Karia & Associates. Revenue from operations grew strongly to Rs. 1,638.13 lakhs in H1 FY26 from Rs. 1,222.50 lakhs in H1 FY25, a jump of about 34%, while the standalone Q2 revenue rose about 61% YoY to Rs. 1,078.27 lakhs. However, profitability collapsed: profit before tax fell to Rs. 4.58 lakhs from Rs. 24.62 lakhs, and PAT dropped to Rs. 3.58 lakhs from Rs. 18.62 lakhs, as cost of materials consumed surged sharply. The company used strong operating cash flows of Rs. 331.24 lakhs to pay down long-term borrowings from Rs. 1,244.81 lakhs to Rs. 849.35 lakhs, though closing cash fell to just Rs. 5.98 lakhs from Rs. 73.78 lakhs.
Positive top-line momentum is being offset by severe margin compression, with PAT down over 80% despite higher sales, signalling cost pressure that may worry investors. Deleveraging is a positive, but the sharply reduced cash balance and very thin profits warrant close monitoring.
