Ugro Capital has allotted Commercial Papers (CPs) worth about Rs. 14.36 crore on 14th May 2025, with a face value of Rs. 5 lakh per paper. The CPs carry a 180-day tenure and will mature on 10th November 2025, with a redemption value of Rs. 15 crore. The instruments are proposed to be listed, and Yes Bank is acting as the Issue Paying Agent. The CPs were issued at a discount (Rs. 4,78,751.50 per paper vs. Rs. 5,00,000 face value), implying an annualized yield of roughly 8.5–9%.
This is a routine short-term borrowing by the NBFC to manage its funding requirements. The 180-day maturity means no near-term equity dilution or impact on shareholders, and the borrowing cost appears in line with current market rates for NBFC CPs.
