UltraTech Cement's board approved standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹21,275 crore (up ~13% YoY from ₹18,819 crore) and net profit jumped ~49% to ₹2,221 crore versus ₹1,493 crore a year ago, helped by acquisitions of Kesoram's cement business, India Cements and Wonder Wallcare. Basic EPS stood at ₹75.67 (₹50.81 in Q1 FY25). The board also approved the appointment of Deloitte Haskins and Sells LLP as Joint Statutory Auditor for five years and recommended adoption of a new Memorandum and altered Articles of Association for shareholder approval. Mr. V. Chandrasekaran was appointed as an Independent Director for five years effective August 13, 2025, replacing Mr. Sunil Duggal whose term ends on the same date and who has opted not to seek re-appointment.
Strong Q1 earnings growth, driven partly by inorganic expansion, is positive for shareholders and should support the stock. Routine board changes (new independent director and joint auditor) are governance-positive and unlikely to materially affect valuation.
