CARE Ratings has reaffirmed UltraTech's highest credit rating of 'CARE AAA; Stable' for long-term bank facilities of ₹2,400 crore and 'CARE AAA; Stable / CARE A1+' for long-term/short-term bank facilities of ₹14,700 crore. The rating for the fixed deposit programme has been withdrawn since UltraTech has fully repaid these and no amount is outstanding. CARE highlighted UltraTech's market leadership with 194 MTPA total cement capacity, plans to expand to 240.8 MTPA by FY28, strong financial profile with net debt/PBILDT improving to ~1.3x in FY26, and robust liquidity. 9MFY26 revenue grew ~19% YoY to ₹62,712 crore with EBITDA margins expanding to ~19%.
The reaffirmation of the highest AAA rating with Stable outlook signals continued strong creditworthiness and low borrowing risk for shareholders. No negative impact on stock price expected; this is a neutral-to-positive confirmation of UltraTech's financial strength.
