Avi Products India Ltd (formerly Avi Photochem Ltd) posted weak unaudited results for Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26 (ended 30 Sept 2025). Revenue from operations collapsed sharply — H1 FY26 turnover fell to about Rs 7,121 lakhs from Rs 19,502 lakhs in H1 FY25, a drop of roughly 63% year-on-year. Q2 FY26 revenue also fell steeply versus the Rs 8,854 lakhs reported in Q2 FY25. The company swung to a loss after tax of about Rs 95 lakhs for H1 FY26 versus a small profit of Rs 7 lakhs in H1 FY25, with both Q1 and Q2 FY26 posting losses of around Rs 91 lakhs and Rs 55 lakhs respectively. The auditor (N.K. Jalan & Co.) issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis-of-matter. The company also noted it has stopped operating the Food & Beverages segment.
Sharp revenue erosion and a return to losses are negative signals for shareholders; the stock is likely to see weak short-term sentiment, though the clean auditor review and limited debt (D/E under 10%) reduce solvency concerns.
