Unichem Laboratories reported strong full-year results with consolidated revenue from operations of ₹2,201.85 crore, up 4.3% from ₹2,110.97 crore in the previous year. Profit after tax surged 84% to ₹252.84 crore from ₹137.52 crore, driven by a ₹275.52 crore gain from sale of the erstwhile registered office land and building. EPS improved to ₹35.91 per share from ₹19.53. The company also settled a European Commission fine of Euro 19.55 million in October 2025 and recognised ₹15.40 crore impact from new Indian labour codes. Mr. Pabitrakumar Bhattacharyya was redesignated as Managing Director & CEO and reappointed for three years from August 2026. The Irish subsidiary was sold to Ipca Laboratories in April 2025.
The company delivered robust profitability growth on the back of one-time asset gains and improved operational performance. The CEO consolidation and auditor reappointments signal stable governance. The strong cash position of ₹289 crore provides flexibility for growth investments.
